Onboarding Coaching at The Bailey Consulting Group
The Bailey Consulting Group also provides onboarding, a three-month intensive professional coaching package designed specifically for individuals in new positions.
Onboarding provides direction and guidance at critical transitional times for professionals as they form new relationships, adjust to new expectations and build new teams. The support and insights of an outside coach at these times can be crucial to speed up adaptation, increase the likelihood of success for these transitioning leaders and help accelerate the learning process.
Onboarding typically begins with a 90-day process, during which we conduct assessments to gather data about personality, skills and strengths, discuss and provide feedback about the day-to-day issues that come up in the transition process, set goals and create a developmental strategy for success, and address challenges and opportunities.
On-boarding clients meet weekly—in person or by phone—with their coach, complete reading and written assignments in between sessions that are relevant to their work, and work through a documented learning and action process.
The Bailey Group partners with executive recruiting firms, who find that the onboarding process increases the likelihood of successful transitions for the candidates that they place. We are open to identifying and meeting new partners in this area.
