"Building Your Company’s Vision."
In the article Collins explains what it means to build a company’s vision. He uses companies such as Disney, 3M, Sony, and Johnson and Johnson as examples of organizations with successful visions. Within the piece the author lays out specifically what makes up a good vision for a company. He explains that a core ideology is necessary to have a vision that works. Throughout the article it is made clear that a vision must be the core of the business and does not vary; however, business strategies and practices must adapt to an ever changing world. This piece suggests how a business can articulate a clear vision, through a core ideology and an envisioned future.Â
